Gyula Juhász (1883 - 1937) was from Szeged, Hungary. That is the same region my mother came from.

The writer met a woman named Anna and he fell in love with her. Unfortunately she did not feel the same way. Twenty years later, in 1926, he wrote this love poem about her.
