Veil Scar - part 1

Who is the madman when he’s riding on a star
Who is the madman with the bomb inside his car
Tell me who are the madmen who are lost at sea
Well it ain’t me; it ain’t me
Who is the madman when he’s sad and all alone
Who is the madman when he’s to fight to keep his own
Tell me who are these madmen who keep us all below
They just want to let us know where we belong
They took my knife away and they burned all my belongings
And no chance to say 'cause of the fighting and the brawling
With my mind at stake I couldn’t start to know it
Finally got the right way to play and my agent said he sold it
Who is the madman who accepts the way things are
Who is the madman who lives life from afar
Tell me who are the madman who choose not to see
In the land of the free – It's not me
I got my money made; placed it near my grave
Have I come this far to be a slave of hate
Realize the safety of your ideal world
Don’t let it take you down beyond what you have earned
Who Is the madman who has thrown away the star
Who is the madman who keeps children in a jar
Tell me who are these madmen who think they own you and I
We need to unify if we are to survive

Going Blind
07:41
|
|||
The watchers are wearing damaged smiles
Create their surface reviewing all the while
Look among the faces of the show we’re in now
Stage is under you – why not take a bow
Lying low, sleeping fast – wake up to see the light
Go to calling if it seems to work out right
Tell your family; tell your friends – You've stabbed them in the back
In tears you break down fading fast
See the sun giving us our lives
Occasionally a friend – unknowingly unkind
Remove your Polaroids and stare at it awhile
Soon you’ll find you are going blind
Farmer raised father of the high
Set aside to watch it breed it’s social lies
Because of this the blindness narrows – pins it to one mind
And raise the question
When is then our time?
See the sun giving us our lives
Occasionally a friend – unknowingly unkind
Remove your Polaroids and stare at it awhile
Soon you’ll find you are going blind
Has it just begun – did you have your fun
Why then what’s your wait – you do but hesitate
Warm tears flow from your eyes
Warm tears from your fingers
Blindness comes to man – comes to power
What has made you so?
Sorry tune is sung – break the bell that’s rung
‘Round about the way we live our lives
What then blinds our eyes?
What then draws the blind?
What then moves the mind?
What then keeps the time?
Blindness comes to man – comes to power
What has made you so?
The watchers are wearing damaged smiles
Create their surface reviewing all the while
Look among the faces of the show we’re in now
Stage is under you – why not take a bow

Living In Sin
04:23
|
|||
Give me a life with no rules and no changes
Give me a time with some peace in your mind
I need a lady with morals like hinges
Living in sin is the way of our time
Hey what do you keep your pies in
We know the people who are living in sin
Fantasy seeker lay your cards away
I've come to be with you both night and by day
Lay aside the notion that you are something special
Rise above the skyline and stutter while I pay
Tuition for my brain. It's a bore you know
Having done it once I will pay no more
Medicine man scratching at the dog's heel
Desperately searching to find another bone
He's had enough of lies, he's aiming for a big deal
Call upon another to jeopardize his home
Innocent girls lying in the garden
Are casually viewed by eager young men
Stretch out the sign along all major borders
Legalize nature the 'eve' of the loud
Keep it in mind the system might falter
Enough to get by ahead of the crowd
Take another turn to let a little sun in
Mesmerize your audience to keep them in line
Give me a life with no rules and no changes
Give me a time with some peace in your mind
I need a lady with morals like hinges
Living in sin is the way of our time
Hey what do you keep your pies in
We know the people who are living in sin

Planet Nine
03:34
|
|||
Life living on borrowed time
Deep beneath the Planet Nine
We will all have to unwind
My head's feeling oh so fine
Reign now and complete your grind
For now and for all time
House burning – lives on fire
Flames are rising as you climb
While interest rates increase
You're to burn your fleece
And the policies we knew have been demised
Carelessly you start to whine
Life itself has been behind
How on earth can you make your find
Space crawls ‘round where you grind
You're living on borrowed time
Deep beneath the Planet Nine
We're all having to make the climb
Without becoming too entwined
While all is lost it seems
We have to be redeemed
'Cause the politics we’ve made are all conceived
You don’t ever listen
to what I’ve got to say
‘Cause what I’ve got has got what you’re not
And I prefer my way
I don’t read no tea leaves;
I don’t tell no tale
Name the reason some of us
choose not to inhale
All of you by now know what is
to be defined
I know I don’t need what you say here on Planet Nine

Waves
02:51
|
|||
I am not the undertow
I respire gently
In they come and out they go
Diamonds are not plenty
I can’t believe where I’ve
Is it really through me
In it drown the seas I swim
Waves all around me
‘Cause I am not the undertow
You can live without me
I have lived some years before
See the past surround me
If I listen to the pavement
I can hear them laughing
So I go on and be the same
They cannot change me
‘Cause I am not the undertow

Castle

Too bad – Well I’m not glad about the way things are…today
It’s late – The hour’s here and now I start to pray
I’m crazy – Everyone says it’s in my head
But I’m not lazy – I won’t stand here still and fade away
Drink up – You’re looking down in amazement at your empty cup
Cool down – The more you lose yourself the more you mess it up
I’m crazy – Everyone says it’s in my head
But I’m not lazy – I won’t stand here still and fade away
I’m glad – But I’ll have to buy some time so that I’ll understand…today
It’s great – The loss of all that I appreciate
I’m crazy – Everyone says it’s in my head
But I’m not lazy – I won’t stand here still and fade away
Look up – And tell me that you’ve had enough…today
And stop – Do not try to deceive me with your empty cup
I’m crazy – Everyone says it’s in my head
But I’m not lazy – I won’t stand here still and fade away

Whispered Dreams
06:02
|
|||
A world of whispered dreams
Planets there for us to see
Glittering sheets of gold pave the sea
Soft grasses; downy smooth
Skies are filled with brilliant hues
This hurried night melting in the dew
A night of whispered dreams
Plastic thoughts for all to spy
Colourful trails of light fill the sky
Still waters; glassy smooth
Streets are packed with clowns that rule
This measured time is drifting with the dew
A glaze of whispered dreams
All of life waits to be freed
Comical fields of flowers grow so high
Chrome people passing through
And leave behind their ridicule
Comfortably rest forever in the dew

Veil Scar - part 2
03:43
|
|||
Masquerade your soul in hatred
Ask not for what you seek
Pretend the one above you is watching
As you lay your head to sleep
Come out to where the fairies are
To count them in the street
Although their actions are quite harmless
Their legacy’s to beat in the street where you sleep
Papayas growing in the midway
Guard your pennies well
Destroying fashion in the making
Head’s spinning – who can tell
Because what people have us buying
We take all in deep
Throw what you have found in the cellar
Of your casket where you sleep in the deep
I have found myself to be your antagonist
In this cold forgotten land
Prepare yourself for the end of the world
Quickly take me by the hand
Damn all these fools and all of their promises
Of propping up our stand
Deny them in the heat of call
And make them understand with our hand and say…I am

Window
05:53
|
|||
Outside it's raining; a permanent joviality
The streets glazed with moisture offer pathways for the blind
Though inside it's solace compared with that madness
The room starts to decay the deepest inner dreams
I look out my window - I stand on the table
I'm storing my anger to be let out all in one
It ensures me possibilities of breaking present fashions
And the norms that tail behind them
Leading on majority
How can this happen?
Do others not have a window?
Through which they can clearly view the doings on the street
For me it's plain to see that the panes on my window
Have been polished by the faces of pressed foreheads that leave a streak
I look out my window – I stare dumbly at nothing
Because nothing is what is out there and every one fights to meet it first
This retarded mentality consumes the individual
And leads them into thinking they'll be rewarded for their work
Over a number – a perforated paper
They tear the very life force straight out through your heart
They romanticize their losses and try you if you're different
They believe in bearing crosses only if the others wear the thorns
I look out my window – I see nothing new there
So I turn and leave the building and walk out to the street
I plan on making movements and stirring up the doldrums
Creating whole new fashions for people behind windows
