Axel walked away from the river and toward the center of the Land of Joy. He had made it. Kialo was just a little ways away. As he walked across the field and into the woods he eventually came out the other side of the forested area that opened up to a beautiful valley nestled between two large hills. As he entered the town the inhabitants greeted him warmly. Axel told them a man named Barnabas told him about this place. Ah yes, Barnabas. The townsfolk knew Barnabas well.
