There are rituals and magic Which are symptomatic of a counterfeit philosophy Which forms inside a sterile opportunism Never to be had by those who toil and suffer Obtaining riches while the rest of us surrender to them Rituals and Magic There are rituals and magic Which have a boundless path and impractical to follow Which reveals the face of the constant devolution Prevailing distrust darkens the lives of those Whose voice cannot reach the ears of the guilty ones Rituals and Magic There are rituals and magic Which offer hope and health and peace to the prisoners Which starts the dance and frees the mind to think Rituals and Magic

The Answer 03:05
The answers to all your questions And questions and questions and questions … Of somehow succeeding Of honing the instinct Of hunting the future And questions and questions and questions Of finding the answer And questions and questions and questions … We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther And questions and questions and questions … Of problems of time Of misguided interest Of practical knowledge And questions and questions and questions Of finding the answer And questions and questions and questions … We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther We fold our hands before going farther And questions and questions and questions …

Empty - in a single drop of water Ability - to reflect the entire sky The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves Empty – the light does not divide you Ability – the moon does not break water The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves Empty – endless moonlight in the sky Ability – to not want to see the end The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves Empty – to know how deep of a drop Ability – is then the height of the moon The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves Empty – cannot hinder illumination Ability – to know where is the light The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves Empty – letting go of all the reasons Ability – to then release your firm grip The thoughts of ourselves apart from ourselves

Final Act 03:46
All this wild unending chatter. Is enough to drive me wild. All the clashing and the crashing. And the smashing and the bashing. With a din to wake the dead. Everyone has lost their head. Rolling lurching pitching tossing. On a rough and stormy crossing. Staggering stumbling toppling falling. In all directions calling. With a din to wake the dead. Everyone has lost their head. And repeating and repeating. Like a thousand hammers beating. To a din of horrid orgies. In a fiend’s infernal forges. With a din to wake the dead. Everyone has lost their head.

The state exists in order to make it possible for religion to take hold of morality. This is embedded in nature and completely thought conceived. The family exists to bring about a security in its form as a tribe. This is embedded in nature and without a thought to conceive The religion The state The family The tribe

Through the years they tried to synchronize Man and machine; machine and man Using fear they tried to dull our eyes Man and machine; machine and man Despite the leers they tried to weave their lies Man and machine; machine and man Through the cheers they tried to harmonize Man and machine; machine and man And careers they tried to oversize Man and machine; machine and man Using smears they tried to win the prize Man and machine; machine and man Through the years they finally synchronized Man and machine; machine and man Now with tears we’ve had to close our eyes Man and machine; machine and man With their peers they now control our lives Man and machine; machine and man

Toxin 03:47
Bring back the toxin which once was the king Completely repugnant and unable to swing Spread all the toxin throughout the hillside This is the only way to be satisfied To hell with your toxin I will not obey You can teach me no reason By night or by day Your imputed pomposity betrays your preserve In maintaining an order that we all deserve Bring back the toxin to which all must submit A breach of the order one will never commit Enjoy this here toxin as it steals from you time You've entered on our count the end paradigm You can say what you will about the toxin you boast I will never give in - I will stay by my post Your toxin is deadly - your thoughts are maligned The world I imagine is not in your mind

On the line the whole rank stops. Given to explain Its military judgment. On the line standing in the rank. Under the equipment Seeming to take root. On the line back into the action The orders and the threatening Are the rumbles of approval. On the line cold hearted smile. Snapping to attention To the voice of command. Weak and ignorant Voice of command Weak and ignorant Voice of command Weak and ignorant Voice of command Weak and ignorant Voice of command

Land Of Joy 03:15
One word settles the flame One sword levels the earth One look restores the sight Reject the lie; embrace the fear Fine sport this chase of brute creation Prepare your body for cremation And don't be caught up in your own frustration Sallow is the face of all mutation You consider your life for their employ Leaving behind a broken toy Say hello to the girl and boy And welcome them to the land of joy Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now Take a breath now for your one big day Do not consider what the clerics say They never really do much anyway Except sit and demand that you must pray But I tell you that you should deploy With all your power to annoy The ones who see you as their whipping boy And enter into the land of joy Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now Land of joy where to now

Welcome Land 03:24
On the way back home Fantasy seduces you Into a trance you roam Leave behind the fears that hold you Back to where you’re born The Welcome Land of joy surrounds you Underneath the dome You spend your life forgetting that you’re free Through the firestorm Compelled by nature to relax Into a world we’re thrown Far behind the dreams that led us there Before we’re shown The Welcome Land of joy provides A life you’ve never known And spend that life forgetting that you’re free Listen to me if you can - Listen to me if you know Listen to me with your mind - Listen to me with your soul Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash Unfolded and now grown This fantasy will not seduce you Deep in the danger zone And leave behind those fears that haunt you Go back to where you’re born The Welcome Land of joy enchants you Roll away the stone Remembering the fact that you are free Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash - Splish splash

Excerpts from "Civil Disobedience" by Henry David Thoreau. A man laid out alive and standing. Already buried under arms. Not a drum was heard. Not a funeral note. Not a soldier discharged his farewell shot. A mass of men to serve the state. But not as men but as machines. With their bodies they are standing. Free from any moral judgment. Marching in admirable order. Does this keep a country free? Be judged by effects of your action.

Shallow 03:09
Deep in the shallow - they place us underground Stand on the gallows - where then you will be crowned Stir up the hollow - you will be ever bound Choose who to follow - and don't make a sound Done so heavy gauges Done so many pages Done so empty wages Done so shallow cages Done so crippled sages Done so angry rages Done so proper stages Done so living ages Deep in the shallow - where you work for life Until tomorrow - your only way is strife It's a fiasco - but put away your knife The better way then - is to realize Done so heavy gauges Done so many pages Done so empty wages Done so shallow cages Done so crippled sages Done so angry rages Done so proper stages Done so living ages Deep in the shallow - you find a sordid pile Each breath you borrow - each grave that you revile Don't sit and wallow - don't learn the ways of guile Even Apollo - obtained a better style Done so heavy gauges Done so many pages Done so empty wages Done so shallow cages Done so crippled sages Done so angry rages Done so proper stages Done so living ages Deep in the shallow - they place us underground Stand on the gallows - where then you will be crowned Stir up the hollow - you will be ever bound Choose who to follow - and don't make a sound Done so heavy gauges Done so many pages Done so empty wages Done so shallow cages Done so crippled sages Done so angry rages Done so proper stages Done so living ages

See the sun in the midst of the rain. Take clear water from the heart of the fire Hear the thunder in the midst of the shine Endure the pain of the loss … of the way People of the earth living with the land. Respecting its limits always giving back. People of the earth honouring the spirit. The secrets of their riches held tight inside their souls. People of the earth standing tall for freedom. The wisdom of the ages passed down to the youth. People of the earth harmonious with nature. Not imposing their will but letting her has her way. People of the earth defend against intruders. Who do nothing but destroy and rob them of their rights. People of the earth innocent and peaceful. While those of the world are jaded and uneasy. People of the earth you cannot be forgotten. People of the earth your heritage lives. People of the earth united in spirit. People of the earth you pay the price for progress. People of the earth People of the earth People of the earth People of the earth
