Veil Scar 12:43
Who is the madman when he’s riding on a star Who is the madman with the bomb inside his car Tell me who are the madmen who are lost at sea Well it ain’t me; Lord, it ain’t me They took my knife away and they burned all my belongings Didn’t have a chance to say with all the fighting and the brawling Could’ve had my mind at stake but I couldn’t start to know it Finally got the right way to play and my agent said he sold it Who is the madman when he’s sad and all alone Who is the madman when he’s to fight to keep his own Tell me who are these madmen who keep us all below They just want to let us know where we belong They took my knife away and they burned all my belongings Didn’t have a chance to say with all the fighting and the brawling Could’ve had my mind at stake but I couldn’t start to know it Finally got the right way to play and my agent said he sold it I’ve been around the other side of town I’ve never tried what the others found To be a wondering exclusive erotic pleasure For us all I won’t go down Between the walls of here and now Lovers battle for a piece of solitude Among themselves so proud To be a member of a well known crowd in school Tell me teacher did I learn to live Tell me teacher what you’ve got to give Avenues of life never lead me back to the place I met my lover I got my money made; placed it near my grave Have I come this far to be a slave of hate Realize the safety of your ideal world Don’t let it take you down beyond what you have earned Tell me teacher did I learn to live Tell me teacher what you’ve got to give Avenues of life never lead me back to the place I met my lover Hangman coming to cheat your loving Morning mother never could save me Sense the humming of your cousin With her mind away starting to feel me I’m not able to see my girl And it makes me fight I go calling; I’m so rotten Meditate upon a torpedo Here too often to play the cousin Run up and down the street – oh There is nobody to move me out And it makes me fight Rush right back; rush right back Rush right back to the limit Masquerade your soul in hatred Ask not for what you seek Pretend the one above you is watching As you lay your head to sleep Come out to where the fairies are To count them in the street Although their actions are quite harmless Their legacy’s to beat in the street where you sleep Papayas growing in the midway Guard your pennies well Destroying fashion in the making Head’s spinning – who can tell Because what people have us buying We take all in deep Throw what you have found in the cellar Of your casket where you sleep in the deep I have found myself to be your antagonist In this cold forgotten land Prepare yourself for the end of the world Quickly take me by the hand Damn all these fools and all of their promises Of propping up our stand Deny them in the heat of call And make them understand with our hand and say…I am

And so once again The hero finds himself a friend Far away from his home Building castles by the shore Twisted wreckage burning still There to keep some love on chill The hero’s gone, bring in the next After all aren’t we the best Come along on this sunny day But be careful don’t give yourself away The plastic warriors melt the sky As they ruin your mind alibi A cable snaps you hear it fall Now on the ground I’ll meet you all Shorn against the hero’s will The shadow’s sharpened for the kill This cause is here to stay A new world order is on the way Now across the line we stand As we now remove our hand Place the rock back where we found The enemy is all around This then is my story told Believe only the truth hold

I had me a job, got me working all the time I had me a house, so beautiful and clean And in my house I had everything I needed Provided by the job I had uptown It was heaven, you know, the great Canadian dream My family and I had it made in the shade But then one day thongs began to change The borders were open and jobs, well, they ran amuck And since then, let me tell you, everything is gone Now at first it didn't seem to affect me at all But more and more there was less and less to do Pressure in house had my love grow weak I felt lost and so uncertain of my life It was hell, the end of the great Canadian dream My family and I were being traded for something free And then one day I was told I had no job And now I'm blamed for doing what I was told to do So now you see how it happened that everything is gone Well I say why don't more raise up in anger There is no one who wants to live this way To lose your job because they're going under And they're going under because they can't survive The competition is tremendously unequal Governments don't care if you live of if you die We line their pockets with the money we work hard for And when we're done they throw us all away If you open your eyes you'll see that everything is gone

Stop the truck and pull over I feel a little bit too sober Must be the last thing I ate That brought me back down And if you feel our descendents Have been given independence You got your words taken down Wrapped around a clothespin in the sea Jules Hanon played the system He hired a veteren He knew how to be with himself While acting the same Though one night did find when He built his world around him Jules Hanon with a gun Blew out his brains I will scream and shout You won't hold me down I am insane I play a mean guitar and I'm bound to go far 'Cause the people will buy anything And in these situations I've been known to make decisions Of a kind you all like to see on a film And if you feel our descendents Have been given independence You got your words taken down Wrapped around a clothespin in the sea

Space Angel 05:22
Well let me tell you people when I was out in space I became frantically elated – there was a smile upon my face My limbs had long stopped moving My mind became quite numb I felt my capsule drifting inching nearer to the sun Then along came this young lady She made her way into my room She said she’d stop me from thinking I was on a path of doom She said she was the Space Angel and soon you’ll understand You’re now about to experience my secret master plan And with this she started floating and bouncing off the wall With her little wings a’flappin’ It wasn’t long before her fall Then she picked me up and squeezed me And then she held me to the light The sun was shining brighter now I knew I had to fight I say ‘Hey, you Space Angel, now who do you think you are? You come crashing into my capsule acting like you are a star. I don’t know how I should tell you but I think it’s plain to see That you really are a domey and not what you appear to be Well come on Space Angel le me see the things that you do I’ll take you down and bend you over and try your act on you” Now the Space Angel took the beating She took it tied and true And when her trial was over she swore she’d start anew I free her from her bondage – the air was getting thin And then the musky odour I started to breathe in I felt intoxicated – I had been dealt an awful blow To be defeated by the Space Angel with nothing left to show So let me tell you people next time you’re out in space And if your capsule’s drifting to some far off unknown place And if by chance some young lady comes crashing through the door Calling herself the Space Angel and what she has come there for Remember my warning to you – she’s as evil as evil can be Beware the name Space Angel – you don’t want to end up like me

The rain it holds no questions As darkness fills the skies This place where death's erupting Complete the raging lies It's not for us to judge it Cantankerous on high I'll take you on a journey To touch the darkened skies The fields are filled with fire Reaching for the sky Burning with angered power Remind us of the lies Of those who came before us Their souls are touched by hell Contented with their absence Reminded by the smell The rain it has the answers It spills out of the sky And now unto the city The people choke and cry There is no explanation Our journey's come to be The past is now the future If only we could see

Nothing 04:39
Hail the rising sun Colours limited Calling Lucifer He’s got me on the run Lord of all around You see us pleading Won’t you lay your money down Graves are turning There are maggots in the ground Still your children are worth nothing Through the fire wall Pretend soldiers march They build their crosses tall Caught up in the magic Now they start to fall Finding out their lives mean nothing Life’s a callous dream With edges fraying It belongs inside a scream Over-rating us by saying we are clean When really all we are are nothing

Happy Man 03:46
Happy Man ride free And don’t tune your voice to the sound our guitars Happy Man ride free And keep within the movements of your heart Forever’s been known to tear it apart The latest call Like burning through the darkness of the night The latest fall Colliding with a multitude of rights Both sides have been aligned by way of sight Happy Man ride free Consider what the stars and stripes have done Happy Man ride free Accumulated power with the gun And smother then with prided what you have done Happy Man ride free And tell us of a different way of life Happy Man ride free But don’t discard your feelings with a knife The attitude that puts you always right

Madsong 04:32
Now we live in a world with no solutions To our problems which through evolution Have escalated into a form of madness That we have all accepted So tell me why are you still drooling When with all your schooling You are supposed to be a better man than me No No don’t give me no bullshit Just tell me that you’ve had it With this world we have created It’s time we do something So walk into any government office And tell them you didn’t elect them In fact , if you had it your way The laws you would erase But that would leave then out of work you know Even though they wouldn’t suffer ‘Till we take our boots to their face Don’t get me wrong I’m really not that violent But with the end so near We have nothing they can trace So we sing a madsong
